updating

... realised i havent been dutifully updating my blog...

i cant stand being sick... was not feeling well since last wed... i dread eating medicine, seeing doctor and gg to hospital... well, at least not in here... oh wells... Still, i couldnt escape this fate! tough luck... ):

i went to a hospital nearby... craziness... btw i dont think in China there's a clinic, am not too sure either....

these few days i have been waking up feeling like my head is gonna burst anytime and i freaking cant swallow my saliva, not to say food... and worst thing is tml i will be at beijing... so i thought no matter how i dont like i should go c a doctor in case i reali fall ill...

anyway the doctor did 2 tests on me.. felt like a white mouse.... blood test, xray.. UGH and i realised that it is damn inconvenient to c a doc in china... u gotta go this level to do this and pay this first before they administor another thing.... WHY cant they just do some common thing in the same level?~

anyway VERDICT... i got respiratory infection and i need to be warded and i need to be dripped but i refused.. and best part is the doc didnt allow me to go beijing.. so i am on medication and i insisted on taking my medication dutifully...

sigh!~

aniwae my weekends was great!

fri was FUN!~ i got Wuhan frens now.. hahhaaa... so weird but he is my hairstylist... long story to y we will go out... but oh wells i tasted the nightlife of Wuhan, nothing special, nothing more fun that will lure me go to more~ maybe i aint a clubber in the first place... i dont like to drink either... its true.. believe it or not.

we went to somewhere called babyface... oh wellss... i think Singapore used to have one but closed down rite?

i played tourist to Joe on Sat when he touched down... hahaa instead of only bringing him to shoppe, i also brought him to 黄鹤楼……erm... seriously i dunno how to appreciate such arty farty thingy... but nearby this place again its a shopping and foodie place... cool!~

Oh! and the hotel he's staying has bird's eye view of Wuhan... sadly Wuhan is a mixture of old n new buildings... it is really messy!

will post pics another day... my internet connection sucks and in case i dont blog tml, see u guys again on MONDAY when i come back from Bei Jing... glad i am leaving Wuhan... pretty bored with this place....

my first time missing a lesson.. luckily its only a lesson and not the entire day's...

this was the day we presented our novel appreciation... pretty funny how we all wore white that day.... yaxin me and dingxuan....

think we pretty hardworking in this presentation.. hahaha sorry guys if i didnt presented well... tried my best already to not speak in english and hopefully what i said makes sense, well at least some huh...

we rewarded ourselves with buffet dinner nearby school.... not too bad... but really scallop was gastronomic.... YUMMY~


wonder if we have this crab in Singapore... not sure what breed, but it certainly has pathetic meat in it....

on fri, we decided to go Hankou to eat sushi.........

then we headed to the salon.... where i did my hair... super long extention but i dont think i like it... hahaha will decide if i wanna cut it if reali i bu tahans... hahaha i have fake hair.... *grins*

it was such a super looong process, we were late back to the hostel... and i was so tired waiting for my hair stylist i din take the end product... but anyway i prob go back next week...

oh i did my 2000 words essay!~ wheeeee.... stayed in the hostel throughout sat and sunday... guai right... but i have to admit i literally copy and paste from online, adding my few cents worth of comments nia... this is bad but i really dont know what to write...

tues will be my open book test... hope all is well..

i realised that there is 101 things to notice in a novel... and i am damn lazy to write down every sentences i quote...

anyway i realised i got my deadlines wrong... tml's presentation.. monday to hand in a 2000 word essay on 《诗经》　and on Tues, a test on 楚文化...

meaning to say that my weekends are burnt.... UGH

i need another brain and an interpreter who speaks fluent Mandarin...

sian thurs i got presentation and monday i got some chiem-logy 楚文化 test…… the only consolation is monday's an open book...

i think i bought a lot titbits on sunday! 157Y haha... snack non stop and snacking is probably my fave pasttime... haha

sunday i ate the worst korean food at some shopping centre nearby school.... ate eel rice and the first bite was puking... yucky... disgusting.... and dx n i decided to get some side dish... she got 大白菜( not sure what is it called.. any idea?) and it tasted RAW... i dont appreciate food here...

realised they do have familiar brands in Wuhan... Mango, Miss Sixty, CKjeans, Dunhill.... but they are probably more expensive... but sports brands are relatively cheaper....

on friday, i finally saw a pet shop... my cam low batt so didnt take photos.. but i tell you the pet shop is smelly and i feel that the pets in a pretty bad condition... and I saw snakes, some yellow frog like that... and its pretty fat one...

actually i didnt see any pet shops around, definitely not a common sight... but they do sell pets on the streets... pretty sad a sight :( cos the puppies don't look like they have been weaned... really pathetic... people really bring their dogs around and their dogs are really really guai.... they walk beside their owners, oblivious to us....

one mth

today marks my one mth here....

its kinda ironic how come i ended up in chinese studies... sigh a note to all: follow your dreams... don't make impulsive decisions that you think it may benefit you in the long run.. cos most of the time, it never will.....

my one month here is pretty survivable.... shopped a lot but i am still thinking how come i shop so much seriously.. the amount of bags i bought really amazes me... i think by the time i leave here, i need to freight many things back to Singapore...

maybe its just a de-stressing kinda therapy but i think i will stress on how my luggage fit all my stuffs...

this month is pretty a relax month i should say, b'cos it was golden week for china, i had one week of holidays... so effectively i only had 3 weeks of school... next month i will be going to beijing which i am pretty looking forward to it because i really dont like the food here, hope i can go beijing and eat seafood or even much nicer food!~

i love eating... cant imagine being deprived of edible food... good food... food that taste like home.... i really feel like dying, omg

okaye, back to reality... i shall make sure i get my arse to mugging (haha... don't know if i can)

i miss being in Singapore... i dont like the sense of being not in control... i dont like to feel that things will become a little fragile or unstable... i do not enjoy msn or skype as often as before i came here anymore....

but well on a good note, i left with 3 months, 105 days to my return if the dates dont change...

the weather here slowly is getting chilly.. its crazy how cold here can be and i dont appreciate the weather cos it can be sickeningly cold... i wonder how can i survive if its winter.. will my ears get chopped off if i am very cold~ i need a walking heater with me....

maybe i shouldnt tell myself i dont like it here.. but i can't... i almost got knocked over by a few cars... omg i hate the roads here seriously... the drivers are really road hazards, and i pray that i will be at the mercy of becoming a human bowling pin in anytime soon...
